Kia Sustainable

Kia Netherlands has summarised its policy with regard to the environment in the Kia Sustainable Management programme. Kia Sustainable Management consists of 3 parts:

Kia and the environment

The past ten years Kia has been building on the implementation, positioning and professionalisation of the brand name without interruption. The full range has undergone radical innovation and expansion in a few years time and the growth of Kia has gained momentum.

The past few years we have become more and more aware of the effects of our actions on the environment. We see issues such as floods, heat waves, forest fires, tornados and melting glaciers and ice caps on the news on a daily basis.

Worldwide politics firmly focuses on global warming, environmental management and the changing climate. It is essential that measures are taken globally in all areas to, for example, reduce CO2 emissions.

The greenhouse effect and its consequences are not just topics to be dealt with by scientists and politicians; we can also make a contribution towards the solutions to this threat. Nearly 60% of Dutch people say they are worried about the environment and slightly more than half has modified their behaviour.

We also wish to clearly assume our own responsibility as Kia Netherlands through the Kia Sustainable Management programme. We would like to tell you more about this on our website. We would also like to request your cooperation since we will only achieve something if we work together.

Kind regards,
Kia Nederland B.V.
